STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL

March 2nd saw the FAIRtax at the annual Habitat for Humanity Strawberry Festival in Ocala, Florida. This one day event draws more than 30,000 spectators each year, and many stopped by the FAIRtax booth to learn what the FAIRtax is all about or to show their support for the FAIRtax initiative. Many pocket cards, “prebate” business cards and other learning materials were handed out, and over 70 FAIRtax petitions were signed.
There was a wide range of questions asked. Some by those unfamiliar with the FAIRtax, those who sought clarification on different aspects of the FAIRtax and others with misconceptions that needed correction.
Thanks go out to our wonderful volunteers who manned the booth and answered all those inquiries: Randy Fischer, Nick & Barb Rudelic, Terry Tibbetts, Walt & Sallie Yesberg, Darlene Whitkanack and Ron & Elaine Maiellaro. Without their support and willingness to participate in this event and others, many people would not know how the FAIRTax would improve the life of the American citizens.
