Randy Fischer, Marketing & Communications Team Leader, is asking for a Volunteer to step forward and manage our 2 LinkedIn accounts.

Randy has his hands full for example, with incoming telephone calls, e-mails, composing/processing Facebook and Twitter messages, and stepping back now and then to plan strategy.

LinkedIn, as you may already know, is more of a business and professional networking venue than Facebook or Twitter.

Currently the LinkedIn site for “Americans For Fair Taxation” has no content.  Our other LinkedIn page called “FAIRtax Official” has content.  So why do we need a separate track for “Americans for Fair Taxation”?

We believe People who respond to “FAIRtax Official” would be more like private Individuals who also use Facebook or Twitter.  These People would see The FAIRtax as more of a social gathering to promote a cause.

The name “Americans For Fair Taxation”, on the other hand, would have more of an appeal to business and professional People.  People who network professionally would more likely be drawn to this page.

The Volunteer for this assignment, we hope, will have a marketing background and a network they would be willing to use both commercially and for FAIRtax. Those assets, however, aren’t a requirement.
