FAIRTAX AT NEVADA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
This week’s Grassroots Corner comes to us from California FAIRtax State Director, Marty Sturmer from the Sacramento Area. Marty writes:
“Frank Wagoner and I spent an enjoyable afternoon at the Nevada County Fair, in California, educating the public and handing out palm cards. We met a lot of friendly people. Some thanked us for being there. We both felt good about promoting the FAIRtax.”
Nevada County, California, is northeast of the State Capital of Sacramento and borders the State of Nevada in the East.

We thank Marty and Frank for taking FAIRtax to the Nevada County Fair. Marty and Frank demonstrate a good model for getting out to public events and making people aware of the FAIRtax. We encourage people to go to the FAIRtax website, scroll down to “Get Info,” and sign up. You can tell people that we do not sell the list, and they will not get spam. Signing up gives people multiple exposures to the FAIRtax message until it registers. Appearances at public events have had surprisingly good results.
I would love to hear about how you have taken FAIRtax to a public event.

WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED – IF YOU LET US KNOW.
As a reminder, event insurance coverage is available, but you must let us know. Once the event is underway, it's too late. If you are planning an event, let me know the who, what, when, and where, and I will get you a certificate of insurance.
