MEET JULIAN WALLE

The FAIRtax movement has benefited from gifted leadership, but the aging of its board members has been a challenge. To address this issue, the previous Board of Directors has been actively recruiting the next generation of leaders. The new leaders have become the new Board of Directors, and the immediate past Board of Directors is now the Executive Board.
This Grassroots Corner is the second profile of the members of the new Board, continuing with Julian Walle. Julian’s last name may sound familiar because his brother is our board member, Jade Walle.
Julian served in the U.S. Army from 2003 to 2023, retiring as a master sergeant after completing seven combat deployments and leading global communications and IT operations. His work included planning and executing secure satellite systems, radio networks, cybersecurity programs, and enterprise IT infrastructure, supporting thousands of U.S. and allied personnel in high-tempo environments.
After retiring from active duty, Julian joined a Big Four public accounting firm as a Technology Operations Manager, where he leads IT operations and digital transformation initiatives across international business units. His focus is on modernizing systems, streamlining processes, and delivering technology solutions at scale.
He holds a B.S. in Computer Networks and Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus and brings over two decades of experience in technology leadership, operations, and program delivery.
Julian became involved with the FAIRtax movement in 2017, introduced to it by his brother. He quickly recognized the advantages of the FAIRtax model and has since been a committed advocate for replacing the federal income tax with a more transparent, consumption-based system. As a board member, he supports the organization through technology strategy, operational alignment, and veteran engagement.
Julian lives with his wife and two children and enjoys an active, health-focused lifestyle.
I would love to hear from you if you know someone like Julian.
