July 4th, 2026, will mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, “…We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” The Declaration started the Revolutionary War, which ended with the king losing his power to rule and tax. Eleven years later, in 1787, using the Declaration of Independence’s defining principles, the U.S. Constitution was completed to create the new government that ‘Derives its power from the consent of the governed.’
Continue to Feb. 3rd, 1913, with the ratification of the 16th Amendment, “The Congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes on income, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.” Hence, the kingly crown of taxation power and control is placed on the heads of Washington, D.C. We now have the income tax, payroll taxes, and the I.R.S. The federal income/payroll tax system has many problems, bad practices, and deceptions.
Would you like to regain the financial freedom, liberty, and civil rights all of us enjoyed prior to the 16th Amendment? Would you like less government and be able to fully enjoy your unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? There is a solution for this 2nd revolution, this 2nd Declaration of Independence. It is the FAIRtax Act, HR 25, a bill now in Congress.
