REPUBLICANS IN STATES WITH CO-SPONSORS

In the February 6, 2023, issue of Grassroots Corner, we gave you a list of cosponsors from the previous Congress who were not yet back on the FAIRtax bill for this Congress. This week our focus is on Republican Members of Congress who are not on the FAIRtax bill as cosponsors who come from states where there is a Republican cosponsor. Sometimes the presence of a fellow Republican from their state who is a cosponsor gives the holdout the nudge they need to get on the bill.

FAIRtax is nonpartisan and does not favor one party over the other. However, Republicans are usually an easier sell. We can work on the Democrats later, as well as states with no cosponsors at all.

You can get your representative’s contact information by going to https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative. Type in your ZIP code where indicated, and you will come to your representative’s official Congressional web page. There will be a link to contact your representative by email, and the office contact information appears at the bottom of the page.

Here is the alphabetical list of states with FAIRtax cosponsors, the names of the cosponsors, and the Republicans from that state who have not yet cosponsored the FAIRtax. Please reach out and demand that the holdout cosponsor HR25, the Fair Tax Act of 2023.
