FAIR TAX RETURNS TO ORANGE PARK, FLORIDA

If live appearances at fairs and other public events get us closest to the people, our Florida Team got very close. Florida FAIRtax State Director, Paul Livingston writes:

We had a FAIRtax booth on Sunday, September 18th, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Orange Park Farmers Market.  Orange Park is a suburb across the river from Jacksonville, Florida.  More information about the market can be found at https://orangeparkmarket.com/

We handed out about one hundred  FAIRtax palm cards and Prebate business cards, and we gathered seventeen new signatures, fourteen with e-mail addresses. Rain shortened the event by an hour.
Our next event will be the annual Orange Park Fall Festival on October 15-16, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Town of Orange Park Fall Festival is Clay County’s oldest and largest Arts and Crafts Festival!  The Fall Festival began in 1982 with roughly twelve craft booths and a couple of guitar players. Forty years later, this two-day festival has over 200 artists & vendors and two stages packed with entertainment from regional and local artists. The kids can bounce on inflatables in the Kids Zone. And, of course, the shopping is second to none with art, unique gifts, handmade quilts, jewelry, pottery, and even treats for your furry friends.

What’s a festival without great food? Our thirty-plus food vendors have it covered! Attendees will enjoy a wide variety of food from barbecue and local seafood to funnel cakes and turkey legs. Farmer’s Market fans can even pick up some fresh produce! Admission is free.  More info at opfallfestival.com

Volunteers in the picture are on the left, Manny Salinas and, with the hat, Jim Stehr.

We thank our Florida Team for its good work in getting out the FAIRtax word.

If you have anything going on in your state to support the FAIRtax, I would love to hear from you and feature you in this column.

Help FAIRtax Become The Number One Issue in 2024

Enacting the FAIRtax must be a prominent topic in these times. We did it before, we can do it again, but we need your help!

Help out with a One-Time Contribution

Your gift of $25, $50, $100 – even $1,000 or more if you can possibly spare it – will help FAIRtax.org bring an end to the IRS and promote a FAIRtax. So, I urge you, please give as generously as you can.
