CALL TO ACTION: SEND TENNESSEE’S JOINT RESOLUTION URGING PASSAGE OF THE FAIRTAX TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVE
We urgently need your help. Tennessee’s Joint Resolution HJR17 urges Congress to pass the FAIRtax. Here is a copy. Please send this copy to your Member of Congress, U.S. Senator, and any other legislator you can vote for.
The Joint Resolution of both houses of the Tennessee Legislature, signed by Tennessee Governor Bill Lee on April 24, 2025, urges the U.S. Congress to enact the FAIRtax. Having a state legislature pass such a resolution is highly significant, and members of Congress need to know about it. Now is a critical time for the FAIRtax.
Your Senator’s or Representative’s website is https://[THEIRLASTNAME].house.gov or https://[THEIRLASTNAME].Senate.gov. You cannot upload the resolution using their “Contact” page, but you can use the website to send a message if you are a constituent. The website will have mailing addresses for the Member’s D.C. office and district offices. Please print the resolution and send it by snail mail with a short note. Then, please let me know when you have sent the resolution. I appreciate the feedback.
