LETTER TO CONGRESSMAN SUBRAMANYAM
Today’s Grassroots Corner comes to us from FAIRtax supporter Karli Belz, who wrote the following to her Congressman Suha Subramanyam, who represents the Tenth Congressional District of Virginia:
“Dear Congressman Subramanyam,
I am writing to urge you to support the FairTax Act of 2025. I kindly urge you to support the elimination of Federal Income Tax as well as the abolishment of the IRS. Also, please do not support a Value Added Tax. It is crucial to vote for the FairTax Act for the betterment of Americans and the economy. Please work with President Donald Trump, Jim Bennett, and representative Buddy Carter to impose a fair consumption tax while abolishing the IRS and federal income tax. I thank you for your service to the country and consideration on this matter.”
Karli promises to send us a response if she gets one. We thank her for reaching out to her Representative. Each of us should do as Karli has done to get the FAIRtax to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. If you want to contact Congressman Subramanyam’s office, his phone number is (202) 225-5136, and his address is 1009 Longworth House Office Building, Washington, DC 20515. His website is https://subramanyam.house.gov/, but you will only be able to contact him through his website if you live in his district.
The Tenth Congressional District of Virginia is west of the District of Columbia. Here is a map:

I would love to hear from you if you reached out to your Representative as Karli did.
