We have new idea. In our December 13, 2019 Grassroots Corner we said, if you are “dressed up for the FAIRtax with nowhere to go,” try joining your local Chamber of Commerce. Since then, FAIRtax-er Mike Simmons came up with an idea that you can meld into your local chamber.
In the September 13, 2021 Grassroots Corner, we reported that Mike is working on the FAIRtax Marketplace to raise money for the FAIRtax. He is looking for vendors to fill it. The members of your local Chamber of Commerce are a perfect fit. It costs nothing for vendors to be in the marketplace, and it requires very little effort for them to get set up. Vendors pay a 10% commission to FAIRtax when they make a sale. That’s it.
My Chamber lets its members send email blasts to its membership for a low fee (which we cannot reimburse because we do not have the budget). Here is what I am sending:

BECOME A VENDOR AT NO COST – UNTIL YOU MAKE A SALE
Dear Suburban Chamber Members,
You can become a vendor to potentially 200,000 customers throughout the country. There is no cost to you for signing up and little you need to do.
The FAIRtax marketplace puts you in contact with supporters all over the country who want to help the Fair Tax Act of 2021, HR25, become law. You make a sale and ship directly to the customer. The FAIRtax Organization gets a 10% commission when you make the sale. That’s it.
Think of FAIRtax Marketplace as AmazonTM-Lite without a warehouse. The commission is less than you would pay with other marketplaces.
How do I sign up? Go to https://fairtaxmarketplace.com/ and mouse over to “Become a Vendor” on the blue ribbon at the top. Fill in the five fields and click “submit.” We will get back in touch with you to get additional information and send you account logon instructions.
It’s that simple!
We will work with you to help you with your display on the FAIRtax Marketplace.
You can get in on the ground floor of something new and exciting. When the FAIRtax marketplace takes off, you will also be helping move the FAIRtax, to success. The FAIRtax is the only tax - existing or proposed - that is transparent, efficient, fair, non-discriminatory, unobtrusive, and removes a deadweight to economic growth.
