But, Most Importantly,
A Wonderful Man!
Since I first met Herman for dinner in Palm Springs in 1991, I have been a huge fan.
Few people could communicate like Herman. During the meal we discussed why the national sales tax was much better than the flat income tax. Herman asked some of the more probing and intelligent questions about the national sales tax that I have been asked in 30 years.
Herman had the ability to explain things in a way all of us aspire to be able to do but few come close. He could be devastating in a debate, but it was always done with a smile in his eyes and there was no rancor directed to the other person.
Herman was a supporter of The FAIRtax and was looking forward to taking a very instrumental role in working with President Trump in his second term to enact true tax reform, The FAIRtax.

We will all miss his wit, humor and the way we always felt after speaking with him, which is loved.
Herman, the world and all of us have lost a great friend and a great advocate for doing the right thing even if it might be uncomfortable.
Yours In Liberty! Yours In Freedom!
