UNFAIR
All of us who went to a theater on October 14th saw the impact that “Unfair” had. While most people would not sit in a FairTaxÒ presentation for ninety minutes to learn about the IRS and the problems with the present income tax system, they watched the movie and were educated.
The “Unfair” DVD will be coming out in January of next year so we will have the opportunity to show others and this will help us recruit more AFFT members.
WHITEBOARDS
While AFFT does not intend to try to make a movie, we do believe that presentation like the ones here (http://www.videoscribe.co/scribes) are very effective with people of all ages.
Currently we are working with Randy Fischer, John Steinberger and the Communications and Marketing Committee on creating whiteboards that will be posted at FairTax.org. These whiteboards will explain the various parts of the FairTax.
Other whiteboards will be prepared as tools for our members who are making presentations. The first one of these is for presentations to Rotary Clubs. We selected Rotary Clubs because there are almost 8000 clubs in the United States and over 340,000 members.
Rotary has the following four principles:
- Is it the TRUTH?
- Is it FAIR to all concerned?
- Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
- Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Our presentation will demonstrate that the present income tax system is not consistent with the four principles but the FairTax is.
WEBSITE
Our social media experts, the members of the Executive Committee and many AFFT members all agree that we need to work on the FairTax.org website. We are obtaining quotes from several designers who have worked on websites for groups like AFFT and hope to announce soon the designer chosen.
